Water jet machine table sizes can be from 1300x1300mm, 1400x2500mm, 1500x3000mm
2000x3000mm, up to 12mm x3m. There is also abrasive water jet cutting machine.
The water jet pump produces 400Mpa pressure. The waterjet machine can cut mild steel
as thick as 3 inches. Other materials can be cut: all kinds of metal, marble, granite, ceramic tile, robber, plastic, cloth, wood, paper and food such as meat.
Water jet cutter is cold cutting machine, so it does not create heat affect zone (HAZ) when cutting metal, and does not burn and create poison gas when cutting plastic or rubber.
Special large waterjet machines are very useful in ship manufacturing and foam cutting.
